Spring in Basel
I've been so focused on finding new destinations to visit, scenes to photograph, and new dishes to try that I've yet to share much about our home city, Basel. Not familiar with this area? When you look at the map and see the point where Germany, France, and Switzerland meet... that's Basel! We're just minutes from Alsacian vineyards and only a couple of hours from the Alps.
Basel is a beautiful city on the Rhein River, is home to numerous cultural events, and has been home to us for four years. If you love art and museums, this is your city! Our SBB rail station and EuroAirport Basel are conveniently located and make travel a breeze. With its convenient location in the middle of Europe, we've traveled easily in all directions, and it's become an ideal location for us to live and work.

Spring in Basel
We're currently still in Basel, waiting for Japan to lift its travel ban. So what to do until then? Spend time with friends and take pictures! I've been attempting to get out at least three days per week to get fresh air, photograph the blooming display, and keep my mental state as balanced as it can be! Our season started quite warm, and we have since experienced two frigid weeks. The frost is affecting our blooms, as well as the vineyards in our neighboring towns in France.
We hope to have more updates soon, but until then, I will be sharing photos of Spring in this beautiful place we call home.
